Reducing the cost for drivers without FasTrak
The cost of using I-10 and I-110 ExpressLanes without a valid FasTrak account or transponder has been reduced to $8 plus the posted toll rate.

Metro ExpressLanes will begin testing the system along the I-10 and I-110 ExpressLanes. This new system will determine the number of persons in a vehicle and compare it to the switch setting on the transponder, allowing Metro to charge the proper tolls for ExpressLanes trips.
