I-105 Closure Alert
Metro has a plan to ease traffic and enhance safety on the I-105, which includes the conversion of the existing High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane, or carpool lane, into two Metro ExpressLanes in each direction on the I-105. Starting February 26 through March 18, crews will perform lane reductions and directional full-freeway closures to restripe lanes between I-405 and Central Av. to accommodate future construction activities. Metro ExpressLanes 12th Anniversary
Metro ExpressLanes is celebrating its 12th anniversary. To celebrate, Metro is issuing limited edition black colored transponders from Monday, February 24, 2025 through Friday, March 7, 2025. Limited edition transponders will ONLY be issued in person at our Torrance and El Monte Service Centers. Quantities are limited and subject to availability.
